The Cloud Foundation grants space at Cloud Place to non-profit youth
arts programs/ organizations (501(c)(3)) in the Boston Area for workshops,
classes, rehearsals, and special events.
Space grant recipients: 
- Offer in-depth art programs involving sequential learning which help youth
develop skills over extended periods of time.
- Reach underserved youth who have limited opportunities for sustained involvement
in the arts.
- Provide connections with skilled artists and training to develop techniques
or skills for creative inquiry.
- Integrate the use of Cloud Place into the program (for rehearsals, classes,
workshops, performances or exhibits).
- Clearly demonstrate an understanding of young people in need and preferably
address the broader context in which youth development operates.
- Offer a program that is youth driven and asset-based (e.g. works to develop
participants'’ strengths).
- Provide a safe and healthy environment for youth.
- Foster development of self-confidence, positive relationships and social
skills.
- Implement methods to measure the impact of program and achievement of
milestones.
